Yesterday on CBC radio the Toronto morning show host was interviewing one of the men who was involved in the court case leading to the legalization of same-sex marriages in Ontario. At the end of the interview, after the interviewee announced his intention to get married that afternoon, the host finished up by saying "well congratulations, it's a fairy tale come true."

Much apologizing ensued.

A group of World War II veterans have recently filed a class action suit in Federal District Court in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, asking to be compensated by the United States Army for causing bodily harm to their persons when the cooks and mess sergeants were ordered to put saltpeter in their coffee.

The veterans claim it is now beginning to affect their sex lives.

A Columbus Ohio newspaper ran a story about a library in Ohio that cannot access its own website. It seems the library was named after a prominent businessman in the town who had donated generously to the library. His name was Leo Flesh. The library installed NetNanny to block porn sites, and it won't let library computers go to the library's website because it is:

It was reported that police in Gary Indiana pulled over Janet Jackson in a routine traffic stop today. They then issued her a ticket for having a headlight out.
